open door policy

my friend admits she hasn't gone to the bathroom alone in probably four years. with three kids it is easily understood. i am working on two and half years myself. enter my husband. when we met he couldn't pee with the door open. he couldn't pee with him even knowing i knew he was in the bathroom. so, it makes me laugh when he now announces to our son that he is going to the bathroom and he will be right back. because our son certainly doesn't understand the concept of privacy. i no longer even shut the door. so, it gave me great pleasure to come home this weekend to see my husband. in all his glory. bathroom door wide open. with kids.
