- together with my husband, son and daughter we recently moved from civilization to a village in southwest michigan due to a new job opportunity. in the few short months we have been here we have seen some things that just aren't right which prompted me to get it in writing. let's just say it is a bit more rural than we are accustomed. so sit back and come with me on our new journey...ten miles south of common sense.
