too much information

the other day my husband asked me where our daughter's shirts were. a week later i am finally coming to the conclusion. i give him far too much information than he cares to listen to when i answer him. i told him they were in the second drawer down. and after a twenty-three minute explanation he now knows that there are four different piles of shirts within that second drawer down. there is a stack of plain white long sleeve shirts. there is a stack of white short sleeve shirts. there is a stack of short sleeve shirts with a pattern. and there is a stack of long sleeve shirts with a pattern. in the third drawer down are her outfits. multiple pieces that go together. not to be split up and worn separately. so, when i came home from grocery shopping to find our daughter wearing gray pants with a black scotty dog with a red bow on them paired with a long sleeve white shirt with orange trim i came to that conclusion. he didn't listen past me telling him the shirts being in the second drawer down. but i can't complain. she was fed. dressed. and happy.
